This Acceptable Use Policy governs all content submitted by lessees for delivery through Ballot Yard infrastructure. By executing a lease, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in immediate lease termination without refund.

Prohibited content

  • Content that constitutes illegal vote suppression, voter intimidation, or interference with election administration
  • Materially false statements about voting procedures, polling locations, registration requirements, or election dates
  • Content impersonating election officials, government agencies, or electoral bodies
  • Content violating applicable campaign finance law in your target jurisdiction
  • Content constituting defamation under applicable law
  • Content violating applicable intellectual property law
  • Content promoting violence or illegal activity
  • Content involving foreign national political contributions prohibited under 52 U.S.C. § 30121

Required disclaimer

All content subject to applicable advertising disclosure law must include required legal disclaimers under applicable law. Ballot Yard checks for disclaimer presence before activation. Disclaimer legal sufficiency is your responsibility.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws. Our AUP review is a minimum threshold filter, not a legal compliance determination.
